Heading off to north Wales for the week to do some Savage Gear related work, might struggle to keep up with the blog

I feel somewhat ignorant that most of my time in Wales has been spent driving through the southern bit on the way to catch a ferry to Ireland from Fishguard or Pembroke Docks. Years ago I spent a glorious few days on Anglesey and I remember how beautiful the area was…………..

So I am rather excited to be getting on the road this morning and doing the long drive up to what looks to me like north west Wales. I am meeting some lads from Pure Fishing/Savage Gear and we are going to spend the week doing lure related work. This kind of stuff tends to be a bit hectic so I might struggle to keep up with the blog this week.

Again, nothing to do with Wales, but I spotted these woodpeckers on the back wall here at home yesterday and I couldn’t resist getting the long lens out
