I can officially go fishing again, had a few fish, how good does it feel! Rugby World Cup starts this evening……….
I caught a bass yesterday evening, and it was magnificent!
How long do you give it before you decide whether you really like a new lure rod or not?
Via my work I don’t pay for a lot of my fishing tackle, but I’m still slightly obsessed with making it last as long as possible
I’m such a good angler when I can’t go fishing!
Targeting currents created by onshore conditions - convergence fishing?
Further down the cheb-tastic rabbit hole, it’s making a lot of sense (big thanks for a specific comment)
Cheb-tastic! The only way to properly test something out is to actually fish with it and catch on it (long, slightly nerdy post!)
I always do these simple things to any spinning reel before I fish with it, and it works really well - for me
First open coast session since I got back from Ireland, found a bunch of fish, I did some happy yelping!
ABU Superior 3000SH spinning reel review - less than £100
Wow these lures look good in the water when rigged like this
Such a fun start with our second group, but a rather embarrassing “guiding” moment from me!
Tough fishing with our first group, but we got a few, second group starts fishing today
A couple of days in with our first group of anglers
Away doing some filming with Savage Gear, hectic!
That first bass hit after not fishing for a week+ was like an electric shock
A few paperclip style lure clips which all do the same thing really rather well (this is what not being able to go fishing does to me!)
Why don’t more bass anglers carry a landing net? Is it a macho thing? (most exciting day so far this year, the Ashes cricket is finally starting!!)
